摘　　要：高中英语教学肩负着发展语言能力的任务,同时还要提升学生的人文素养及思维能力。教学中教师要进行符合学生认知水平及文本属性的深度教学,用教师的深度教学促进学生的深度发展。English teaching in senior middle schools aims to develop the abilities of using the English language,but it should also focus on how to improve students＇ humanism and thinking abilities.Teachers should try to make their teaching advanced depending on students＇ cognition and the nature of the reading materials.In this way,students＇ further development can be obtained.
