摘  要:建构主义作为符合现代教育趋势的理论被应用于大学英语教学中,为了改善现有状况,提议大学英语教师有必要通过学习行业英语知识来提高自身素质。随后根据建构主义的教学观,限定了行业英语知识学习的范围,也详细阐述了教师学习行业英语知识的必要性,即提高自身素质的同时为学生创设良好的"情景",有利于师生、生生之间协作学习,帮助学生更好地完成意义建构。The Constructivism is eligible for the modern education and thus applied to the college English teaching. In order to improve the present situation, the college English teachers are advised to enhance their own quality by mastering professional English knowledge. Afterwards, based on the teaching philosophy of the Constructivism, the boundary of learning the professional English knowledge is defined, and the necessity of learning professional English knowledge is fully illustrated, namely, it will help the college English teachers enchance their quality, meanwhile, provide a better "situation" for the students, foster the collaborative learning among the teacher and students, hence, help students better accomplish the meaning construction.
