摘　　要：运用系统功能语言学家韩礼德的衔接、连贯及主位结构理论对一则英语新闻进行语篇分析,认为对书面语篇的分析将有助于更加深入地理解书面语篇的纯理功能,也有利于深入理解文章暗含的主题。It is an English news discourse analysis by using the theories of cohesion,coherence and thematic structure from System Functions linguist Halliday,aims to show that analysis of the written articles will help deepen not only the understanding of pure theory function of written discourse features,but the implied theme of the article.
