摘　　要：公示语是国际化都市、国际旅游目的地语言环境、人文环境的重要组成部分。公示语翻译指的是城市中的标识、指示牌、路牌、标语、单位名称、通告等的外文翻译问题。公示语翻译的内容涉及常用公示语汇、公共设施标示语、交通运输、观光游览等。公示语具有指示性、提示性、限制性、强制性等应用功能。文章就公示语中常见词语"禁止"的翻译,利用"全国公示语语料库"的资源平台对该词的翻译作个案研究,对基于语料库的调查结果进行观察、分析,从语义韵和词语搭配两方面进行讨论,以期对该词在公示语翻译中的使用提供一个合理的依据。Public-sign language is an important component of language and humane settings in international metropolis and tourist destination.Translation for public sign refers to sign,sign board,road sign,slogan,name of institution and notice,covering common public-sign vocabulary,signs for public facility,traffic and communication and sight-seeing etc.Public-sign is in indicative,suggestive,restrictive and compulsory functions.The essay makes a case study of the translation by means of ＂national public-sign corpus＂ with respect to the translation for ＂prohibit＂ as a common public-sign word.Besides,it makes a examination and analysis of the findings based on corpus before discussion is made of semantic rhyme and phrase collocation with a view to providing a justification for the word to be translated in public sign.
