摘 要:传统翻译理论重视对原作的忠实,但在文学翻译实践中由于文化差异、译者因素、时代要求的原因,译作难免对原作产生"偏离"、"背叛"——创造性叛逆不可避免,在文学翻译中也屡见不鲜。创造表明了译者以艺术创造才能去接近和再现原作的一种主观努力,叛逆体现了在翻译过程中译者为了达成这一主观愿望而造成的一种译作对原作的客观背离。文章从英汉语文化背景差异、接受语环境层面简要探讨创造性叛逆的必然性。Classic translation theories emphasize faithfulness to original texts. However, cultural differences, translators, demand of changing ages inevitably contribute to betrayal, treason of translation from the original --hence "Creative Treason" occurs frequently in translating literary works. "Creation" is defined as translator's effort to resemble the original with his artistic talent, and "Treason" comes from that effort. The thesis studies the necessity of creative treason in literary translation from two aspects: cultural differences between English and Chinese and context of target language reader.
