英语感知动词词义研究的认知语义视角

摘　　要：本研究旨在从认知的视角探讨英语感知动词感知词义的分类、词义实现以及词义间的认知语义关系。通过对WordNet中9个感知动词的词义和用法进行考察，我们发现从认知域的视角，英语感知动词的感知词义可以划归两大认知域：感官感知域和心理感知域，同一认知域的词义又分为动作感知义、结果感知义和关系感知义。英语感知动词的词义是对感知意象的体现。跨域对应词义间存在隐喻性的认知语义关系；同域词义间存在转喻性的认知语义关系。This paper intends to explore the semantic classification, realization and relation of English perception verbs from a cognitive perspective. Through the examination of the senses and usages of 9 perception verbs in WordNet, we find that the perceptual senses of English perception verbs divide into two cognitive domains：sensory perception domain and mental perception domain. The senses in the same domain further divide into senses of action, senses of result and senses of copula. Perceptual senses realize perceptual images. The corresponding senses across domains are metaphorically related to each other;the senses within one domain are metonymically related to one another.
