摘  要:对全国11个省份68所大学3612名大学教师的调查发现,教师的性别、职称、所在大学层次等因素,都对其工作时间长短和工作时间分配产生了显著的影响。与女教师相比,男教师工作时间长,科研时间比例较高,教学时间比例较低。高职称与低职称教师相比,正教授工作时间最长,讲师工作时间最短。与一般大学教师相比,"985"大学教师的工作时间长,科研时间多但教学时间少。尤其是,"985"大学男性正教授的工作时间最长,"985"大学的助教在服务与管理上占用的时间太多。这些结论为大学教师发展提供了政策参考。Gender,ranks and university levels of faculty members all impacted on their work time and time allocation,and this was a major finding of the national survey to 3612 faculty members from 68 universities located in 11 provinces in China.The results showed as follows.Male faculty were with a longer work time and a higher percentage of their time in research,and a lower ratio in teaching,than females.Regarding ranks,work time of professors was the longest,and it was the shortest for lecturers.In contrast with faculty in regular 4-year universities,faculty in "985" universities worked more hours a week with a higher rate in research and a lower percent in teaching.Furthermore,work time of male professors employed by "985" universities was the longest and the "assistant teachers" in "985" university allocated their significant part of work time into service and administration.The findings are valuable for policy adjustment.
