摘　　要：《英语国家概况》课程是高等学校英语专业学生的必修专业课,属社会文化类课程。由于该课程存在内容庞杂﹑信息量大而教学课时量相对较少的特点,教师采用传统教学法或采用多媒体课件辅助教学仍很难满足教学需求和学生的学习需求。因此,在建构主义教学理论的原则下,以网络教学平台为依托,进行该课程的教学手段探索与实践。＂English country profiles＂ courses are required courses of English students in higher institutions,is a social and cultural course.Since there is the cumbersome,large amount of information and teaching the characteristics of a relatively small amount of hours that teachers use traditional teaching methods or the use of multimedia courseware in teaching is still difficult to meet the tea-ching needs and student learning needs.Thus,in the constructivist theory of teaching the principles to online teaching platform as the basis,for the course to explore teaching methods and practice.
