On Learning Motivations and Compilation of Chinese Listening Materials for Second Language Learners

摘  要:根据Dorneyi等多位学者对于第二语言学习者的学习动机的阐述以及学习动机在具体的第二语言学习活动中的表现,并根据对在华留学生学习目的和其对所学内容的需求等的调查,提出了对外汉语听力教材编写应在适应学生的学习需求前提下,依照实际可用、难易相成、明确目的、新鲜有趣及题材多样的原则选择教材内容;并且在遵循技法和保护学生学习动机的情况下,安排自主型、测验型、互动型和团队合作型练习。The present paper argues that the compilation of Chinese listening materials should be based on the needs of students,which will motivate their second language learning.The theories upon which this article is based are the second language learners' motivation proposed by scholars like Zoltan Dorneyi.According to those theories and the students' real needs towards the contents of listening materials,several principles are proposed for selecting listening material contents such as principles of applicability,acceptability,explicit learning purpose,etc.to demonstrate several listening exercise patterns such as self-learning exercises,test-oriented exercises,interactive and cooperative exercises and so on.
