摘　　要：Most of the cytokines have an important effect on functional regulation for the cardiovascular system. Interleukin-8 (IL-8), an activator of neutrophils, is synthesized and released by mononucleic macrophage. It is found recently that IL-8 is also produced by vascular endothelial cells, and IL-8 derived from endothelial cells has a leukocyte adhesion inhibitor (LAI)-like effect, which limits leukocyte adhesion on vascular wall and regulates the interaction between leukocyte and endothelial cells. IL-8 induces chemotaxis
