摘 要:明清以降,天主教耶稣会士大量来华,他们为顺利生存和传教而会通儒学,不断靠拢、比附、融会、贯通和吸收儒家思想,在"西风东渐"传播天主教义和西方科学的同时,开辟了"东学西传"尤其是译介儒家经典的工作,为传播中国传统思想文化做出了重要贡献。耶稣会士对儒家经典的译介可以界定为三个阶段:"学习期"的主要目的是把儒经作为语言材料来学习中文;"化用期"的主要目的是借助儒家思想来抨击欧洲黑暗社会;"研究期"主要属于宗教哲学的学术探讨。先秦儒家经典"四书五经"的译介历程曲折而成果丰硕,激起了欧洲思想界的波澜,促进了西方尊重理性与自由的启蒙运动。During the late Ming and Early Qing period many Jesuit missionaries came to China.In order to preach Catholicism smoothly,they chose to approach and absorb Confucian thoughts,and integrate Catholicism with Confucianism.Consequently they began to introduce and translate Confucian Classics to the West,which contributed greatly to the spread of traditional Chinese culture.This process can be devided into three stages: first,leaning,its main purpose is to learn Chinese language by taking Confucian classics as language materials;second,utilizing,criticizing European society with Confucian thoughts;third,studying,academic discussion of religious thoughts and philosophy.The introduction and translation of Four Books and Five Classics met great difficulties but achieved remarkable success,which inevitably aroused positive inspiration in European ideology and produced influence on the Enlightenment Movement.
