以“目的论”观点看高校校园双语标识——以四川某高校为例

摘　　要：如今的大学不再是过去单纯的"象牙塔",对外开放和对外交流的功能越来越强,许多高校校园内标识语逐渐采用双语。然而校园内标识语的翻译如果缺乏规范,就会大大影响标识语作用的发挥,削弱学校的对外形象。本文以某高校校园双语标识语为例,以"目的论"观点,探讨高校校园标识语翻译的现状和问题,并提出了相应的翻译原则。Today＇s university is no longer ＂an ivory tower＂ .Its function of opening to the outside world and foreign exchange is stronger and stronger, so that bilingual signs gradually become popular in many university campuses.However the lack of standardization translation of campus signs will not only greatly influence the campus signs＇ role playing,and also weaken the external image of the university.Taking XX University campus signs as an example,this paper discusses the actuality and problems of bilingual signs in the university campus from the viewpoint of teleology,meanwhile puts forward the corresponding translation principles of public signs.
