摘　　要：现代大学在本质上与中世纪大学有直接的继承关系,职业性是中世纪大学明显的特征之一,为社会各领域提供基本的职业训练也是当今大学的最基本职能之一。在我国高等教育大众化发展背景下,大学的改革和发展应该以做好职业训练这个基本的中心工作为前提。The modern and medieval universities are similar in nature,with occupation being distinctive of the medieval universities.And the basic vocational nature is also that of the modern universities.In popularization of Chinese higher education,universities should center on the occupational premise.
