基于语料库的中国古典诗词译本中的翻译共性研究——以《诗经》英译本为案例

摘　　要：利用语料库语言学检索软件,通过对比《诗经》英译本与英语原创诗歌在词汇和句法两个层面上的差异,验证翻译共性在以诗歌为体裁英译本中的表现程度。研究结果印证了大部分共性假说,但也证明了原语特征、体裁以及译者等因素对于翻译共性的效度有着不可忽视的影响,进而指出基于单语可比语料库进行翻译共性研究的不足与改进方法。This paper seeks to find out the extent to which the 'universal features' of translation are identifiable in the rendition of ancient Chinese poetries into English.To this end,we make use of WordSmith tools and compare the English version of Shi Jing with non-translated English poetries.Our findings show that most of the said features are indeed identifiable,and that factors such as original language,genre and translator play an important role in accounting for the presence of translation universals.
