摘　　要：介绍了行动研究的缘起、内涵、流程和操作,强调行动研究是培养研究型教师,促进教学反思及打造教师"实践共同体"的重要途径。There are many approaches for College English teachers in their professional development in which the action research is the most practical and effective. The paper introduces the origin and the definition of action research and emphasizes the significance of English teachers＇professional development and discusses how to construct a ＂practical community＂.
