On Electric Terminology Standardization through English and Chinese Contrast

摘　　要：中国电业迎来一个前所未有的发展机遇。与此同时,电业术语进入了一个崭新的积累期。有鉴于此,文章提出从两个方面关注"电工术语",一是电工术语要突出行业特点,二是要关注某些术语在中英表述中的差异,以利于中外的交流和互相借鉴,来保证电工术语的标准化。There is an unprecedented opportunity for electrical engineering development in China. Consequently, electric terminology witnesses a brand-new increase. Therefore, this paper proposes to pay attention to electric terminology from two aspects. First, make sure that electric terminology highlights its professional characteristic. Second, pay attention to certain terminology that is expressed differently in Chinese and English, so that in technical exchange the different versions can be matched for mutual reference, at last the standardization of electric terminology can be maintained.
