摘　　要：调查发现:艺术类大学生英语学习能力的自我评价较差,而且他们的听力、阅读、写作以及翻译能力也普遍较差。因此,任课教师在教学中应根据艺术类大学生的实际情况,采用有效的教学模式和手段,提高他们的英语综合应用能力。A study was made through questionnaires and interviews on English application ability of art students. The results showed that the students＇ self-evaluation of English learning ability in listening, reading, writing and translation is generally low. Therefore, teachers should take effective teaching modes and means to improve their English application ability.
