“Bake NP NP”是属于动词还是属于构式?——以使用为基础的研究

摘　　要：本文是在认知语法的范畴化理论框架内探讨"bake NP NP"与双及物构式"V NP NP"之间的范畴化关系,发现"bake NP NP"是从动词"bake"的使用例子中概括出来的具有一定规约性的单位。"V NP NP"通过原型范畴化和图式范畴化将"bake NP NP"范畴化为"give NP NP"家族的边缘成员和"transfer NP NP"图式的一个实例。作为实例,"bake NP NP"继承了图式"transfer NP NP"的语义特征,表示"传递"义。作为"give NP NP"家族的边缘范畴,"bake NP NP"表示通过"烘烤"过程实现的间接传递。因此,"bake NP NP"是一个表示"通过烘烤实现的间接传递"义的次范畴。显而易见,"bake NP NP"既属于动词,又属于构式。The current study is an exploration of the categorization relation between 'bake NP NP' and 'V NP NP' within the framework of categorization theory postulated by cognitive grammar.The main findings reside in the fact that 'bake NP NP' is a conventional linguistic unit abstracted from the usages of 'bake',and the fact that 'bake NP NP' is categorized by 'V NP NP' through prototype categorization and schematization categorization as the periphery number of 'give NP NP' and an instance of the constructional schema 'transfer NP NP'.'Bake NP NP',as an instance,inherits the meaning of 'transfer' from 'transfer NP NP' and,as a periphery member,conveys an indirect 'transfer' realized by means of 'baking'.Therefore,'bake NP NP' turns out to be a subcategory expressing an indirect 'transfer' by means of 'baking',which indicates that it belongs to both the verb and the construction,rather than either.
