摘　　要：高等学校是高层次人才的发源地和聚集地,承担人才培养、科学研究、服务社会和文化传承四大职能。高等学校统战工作是党的统战工作重要组成部分,是实现高等教育事业科学发展、构建和谐校园的重要条件。高等学校统一战线工作具有统战成员数量大、层次高、联系面广、影响力大等特点,因此高等学校应充分发挥统战工作的优势及特点,进一步完善高等学校统战工作管理体制,建立并完善大统战工作机制,发挥统战工作的"润滑剂"功能和"催化剂"作用,广泛动员党外知识分子积极投身于学校人才培养、科学研究、服务社会和文化传承四大任务中,为高等教育发展提供强有力的支持。As the source and congregated place of high-level personnel,colleges and Universities function as developing personnel,devoting themselves to scientific research,serving society and passing on and inheriting human culture.The united front work of colleges and universities is an important part of the Party＇s united front work as well as a significant condition for the realization of scientific development of higher education and construction of harmonious campus.The characteristic of the united front work of colleges and universities lies in the fact that the object the university united front work serves and involves is a group which has a great number of members,is possessed of a high social position,keeps a broad contact with social classes and produces deep influence on our social life.Therefore,colleges and universities should give full play to the advantages and characteristics the united front work is possessed of,further perfect the management system of the united front work,establish and perfect a greater mechanism of the united front work,give full play to the united front work as lubricant and catalyst,and extensively mobilize the non-Party-member intellectuals to actively devoting themselves to giving full play to the four major functions of developing personnel,doing scientific research,serving society and passing on and inheriting fine human culture.
