摘　　要：《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》中要求:英国文学课程应促进英语专业学生语言基本功和人文素质的提高,增强学生对西方文学及文化的了解,并熟悉中国文化传统,具有一定的艺术修养。在英国文学教学中适当嵌入中国文化内容,既有利于学生深刻理解英国文学内涵,又可继承中华民族的优秀传统文化,还可培养出具有大我民族情感和世界意识的人才,达到双赢的效果。According to English Teaching Syllabus for English Majors, the English and American literary courses should improve the English majors＇ linguistic skills, humane quality, and further understanding of western literature and culture. Simultaneously, they should also be familiar with Chinese culture and have certain artistic attainments. It is a win-win mode of teaching to input Chinese culture in British literature teaching. On one hand, this method can help the students to capture the true connotation of British literature; on the other hand, it can inherit and carry forward the excellent Chinese traditions and cultivate graduates with both national patriotism and world consciousness.
