大学英语精读课教学模式改革初探

摘　　要：英语阅读能力是目前大学英语精读课教学中需要着重培养的一种语言能力,但现在的精读课教学模式存在着较为严重的缺陷,如过于注重字、词、句,忽视语篇能力、速读能力等高级阅读能力,不利于学生阅读能力的全面和深入培养。文章阐述了阅读能力在英语语言能力中的重要地位,解读了阅读能力的组成,透析了现有精读课教学模式的不足,并尝试提出了一套包含"预读、检查、串讲、回顾、作业"五个步骤的改进的教学模式。The cultivation of the English reading skills should be highlighted in present college English intensive reading courses. However, the present teaching mode of intensive reading courses bear serious drawbacks, which hinder the complete cultivation of students＇ reading skills. While pointing out the significant role reading skills play in the overall English language ability, this paper analyzes the combination of reading skills. And it makes an attempt to produce a new, improved teaching mode of intensive reading courses after illuminating the drawbacks in the present one.
