摘　　要：汉英翻译中的“中式英文”是影响译文质量的主要问题之一。本文试图探讨“中式英文”产生的原因或其表现形式以及如何减少和避免这种现象，以使译文更接近于“信、达、雅”这个更高的境界。Chinglish is one of the major problems affecting the quality of Chinese-English translation. This thesis is an attempt to discuss its causes or manifestations and also ways of how to reduce or avoid it, with a view to bringing translation nearer to a higher standard, i. e., 'faithfulness, smoothness (readability) and elegance'.
