摘　　要：随着招生规模的扩大,为了满足本校实验设备和实验经费严重不足的情况,开发了材料力学虚拟演示实验。虚拟实验演示具有虚拟性、实践性、灵活性、经济性、安全性等优点,是对传统实验的完善、补充和拓展,是教学改革的新方向。Material mechanics is the compulsory course for the engineering undergraduates, and its mechanical experiment teaching is an indispensable part, which is the most direct and effective method to contact with theory and experience. Experimental teaching can not only prove the basic theory, but also cultivate students＇ ability of experience and originality innovation. But with the augment of college recruit students, experimental installation and experimental fund are severely shortage, so virtual experiment must be developed to satisfy requirement of experimental teaching. Virtual experiment has many merits such as virtual characteristic, practicality,flexibility,economy,security, etc. , which is a new direction of teaching reform to supply and develop the traditional experiment.
