摘　　要：中国典籍外译研究应主要着眼于译者的翻译策略、文化立场、语言能力,而不应过多强调翻译的方向性和译者的语言隶属关系。中国译者的"逆向翻译"和汉学家的"直接翻译"都是中国典籍外译合理有效的翻译方式。In evaluating translations of Chinese classics the focus should be placed on translator's translation strategy,cultural standpoint,and linguistic competence,rather than on translation direction and translator's language affiliation.Both inverse translation conducted by Chinese translators and direct translation made by sinologists are valid in introducing Chinese classics to the outside world.
