摘　　要：顺应医学教育国际化的形势,医学遗传学全英语教学实践活动已有十年。作为一门医学基础课程,医学遗传学全英语教学试点过程中遇到了教材、师资、授课方法等困难,在学校的政策扶持以及医学遗传学系全体教师的共同努力下,目前医学遗传学全英语课程教学体系已日趋完善,在教学内容、教学方法、师资建设等方面取得了可喜的进步,为医学生进行后续全英语课程的学习打下坚实的基础。In accord with the trend of globalization of Chinese medical education, we started all-english teaching in the course of medical genetics 10 years ago. As medical genetics is a basic medical course, we were faced with a host of difficulties in textbook, quality of teachers, teaching methodology at the beginning. And with the support from our university and the efforts of our teaching staff, we made great progress in many aspects of this all-English teaching system , including teaching contents, teach ing methods, and staff training. The all-English teaching practice in medical genetics grounded the medical students for their further all-English study in the course that followed
