摘　　要：一、培育人的独立个性是当代教育的主导价值追求人类社会的历史是人的不断发展和完善的历史,是人们向往、追求个性自由和解放的历史。人类获得个性自由和解放的历程大致需要经历四个历史阶段,即原始自然经济条件下的“群体人”阶段,封建农业经济和“人的依赖关系”条件下的“阶级人”阶段,现代工业、市场经济和“物的依赖关系”条件下的“独立的个体人”阶段,未来高度发达社会条件下的“个性自由发展的人”的阶段。根据人类社会历史进程中人的发展规律,当代教育的基本价值取向应是培养独立的社会活动主体或培养人的独立个性。On the basis of examining dynamic changes in modern society and characteristics of the time, the authors put forward the viewpoint that the development of independent personality is the dominant value of modern education. The authors also analyze the main problems in the development of independent personality in Chinese education, and sum up the explorative activities of modern education in the development of independent personality.
