模因论视阈下的公示语英译策略

摘　　要：汉语公示语作为一种特殊的应用文体,其英译至关重要。作者将模因论引入公示语英译领域,提出了相应的翻译策略———借用,仿译和创译,并指出翻译通用公示语时采用"借用"策略,而对于具有中国特色的公示语则进行"仿译"和"创译"。Chinese public signs are a special practical language, the English translating of which is quite significant. The paper brings memetics into the English translating of Chinese public signs and puts forward some translating strategies borrowing, imitation and creative translation. What＇s more, it is suggested that the strategy of ＂borrowing＂ can be used while translating general public signs and the strategies of＂imitation＂ and ＂creative translation＂ employed while translating the public signs with the Chinese characteristics.
