中英习语文化差异及其不可译性的缘由

摘　　要：习语是长期语言实践中形成的一种独特的固定的语言表达形式,包含短语、成语、典故、歇后语等表达模式,这种具有本土文化特色的习语给学习者的理解和交流带来了困扰。文章浅析了习语不可译性的缘由。Idioms are the formation of a unique fixed linguistic expressions through long-term language usage It contains the expression pattern of phrases, idioms, two＇part allegorical saying .With local cultural characteristics of idioms has brought problems to learners＂ understanding and communication .This paper analyzes why some idioms are untranslatable.
