摘  要:近年来,英语专业教学在课程设置、教学内容、教学方法等多方面进行了一系列改革,教学质量明显好转,学生的英语水平普遍提高。但是,在教学的各个环节、各个层面上,国学(中国传统文化)基本处于被忽视的状态,母语和本民族文化对英语学习的重要性一直没有引起足够的关注和重视。教学中所提倡的文化教学,仅有目的语文化的输入,是文化单向性传输,这导致了英语专业的学生汉语水平下降、国学知识匮乏,在跨文化交际时,出现国学的"失语现象"。如何在教学中,从深层次上认知文化,突出西方文化特色,渗透国学知识,较好地解决中西文化之间的冲突问题,从整体上提升学生的人文素养和综合素质,使国学对英语学习起到积极的作用,值得英语教育者认真反思。In recent years, a series of reforms have been carried out in English major teaching, such as curriculum, teachingmaterials, teaching method, etc. The quality of teaching has been markedly better, and the undergraduates' English proficiency has widely improved. However, in all aspects of teaching, Chinese traditional culture is neglected. The importance of the mother tongue and national culture to English learning has not been taken seriously. The culture teaching is the input of the target language culture, which is the cultural one - way transmission. This results in the undergraduates' poor Chinese and lack of Chinese culture knowledge. In the intercultural communication, there is "aphasia" phenomenon of Chinese culture. In English teaching, educators should think profoundly about how to cognize culture, to give prominence to western culture, to penetrate Chinese culture knowledge, to solve the conflicts between the Chinese and western cultures better, to improve the undergraduates' humanistic literacy and comprehensive qualities and to make the Chinese culture knowledge have the positive effects on English learning.
