摘　　要：专业英语具有区别于公共英语的独特特征。笔者从专业英语的教学目标及特点、教学方法、教材的选择及考试制度的改革方面,阐述了化工专业英语的教学策略。Professional English has its unique characteristics that are different from common English.Teaching methods of professional English in chemistry and chemical Engineering were discussed based on our practice and experience,including teaching aim and characteristics of professional English,teaching methods,choice of teaching material and reformation on examination system.
