摘　　要：当前大学英语翻译教学仍是从属于语言技能培养的"教学翻译",具体表现在学科定位模糊,教材编写理念陈旧和教学模式僵化这三个方面,这非常不利于自身翻译能力的培养。本文拟在总结、分析现状的基础上,探讨目的论的翻译本质观、文本功能划分和翻译程序对大学英语翻译教学改革的促进作用。Current mode of translation teaching in college English education is merely a training method for other language skills,rather than for translation competence itself,evidenced by its dubious status as a subject,dated compiling concepts of course books and text-centered teaching process.This paper intends to explore the implications of the skopos theory for the innovation of translation teaching in college English,with its original definition of translation,classification of textual functions and translation process.
