摘　　要：藏族史诗《格萨尔》在翻译流播过程中,出现了复译、转译、汉译等不同文本。在把少数民族典籍推向世界的过程中,各种不同文本如何做到既忠实于原文的民族性和文化特点,又能体现其文学性和艺术性,是翻译领域面临的一个难点。试图从文化语境的角度对《格萨尔》翻译存在的问题及翻译策略展开论述,以期对《格萨尔》的翻译传播工作提供借鉴与参考。So far Gesar has been translated into a number of versions.In translating and retranslating Gesar,how to be faithful to the original version in ethnic and cultural traits and to reflect its literary aesthetics is a common problem existing in the translation of minority classics.This paper attempts to discuss the translation problems and translation strategy of Gesar in the perspective of cultural context in order to provide references for the translation and spread of Gesar.
