英美文化融入与大学英语教学

摘　　要：英语作为一门交际型、应用型的语言,英美文化知识在大学英语教学中起着重要的作用。本文将英美文化知识与大学英语教学相结合,以中北大学为个案研究对象,通过对于文化测试、问卷调查结果以及教材中相关英美文化内容的分析,阐述英美文化知识融入大学英语教学的必要性和可行性。并在此基础上,以《新视野大学英语》教程为教学实例提出了大学英语教学模式及策略。结合教学实践,发现融入英美文化知识的教学活动,能扩大学生的知识面,加深对课文内容的理解,同时能增强其语言交际能力和文学素养。As English is a communicative and applied language,British and American culture knowledge plays an important role in college English teaching.Relating English teaching to culture knowledge,with the study of North University of China as case study,and on the basis of analyzing culture test,questionnaire investigation,and the textbooks,the article tries to demonstrate the necessity and feasibility of cultural teaching.At the same time,the new teaching mode and strategies are put forward on the basis of teaching example in New Horizon College English.From the teaching practice,the culture teaching activities are helpful for students to enrich their literature knowledge,deepen their understanding of the text and strengthen the ability of communication.
