摘　　要：在建设学习型社会的大背景下,个人的终身教育问题日益受到重视。因此,对于大学生来说,培养他们的自主学习能力是十分必要的。本文采用问卷调查的方式对艺术类大学生英语自主学习的现状及大学生对自主学习的认识情况进行调查,并就如何在教学实践中更好地培养艺术类大学生的英语自主学习能力提出了几点建议。Against the background of forging a learning-loving society, all-life education becomes increasingly important. Therefore, it＇s necessary to develop autonomous learning ability for students, particularly undergraduates. Based on the survey via a questionnaire about art majors＇ present situation and understanding of autonomous English learning, some suggestions are offered for teachers to cultivate students＇ autonomous learning ability in their teaching practice.
