摘　　要：对高校思想政治教育进行文化意义上的阐释,挖掘其深刻的文化内涵,既是文化育人的内在要求,又是思想政治教育创新的理性自觉。高校思想政治教育蕴涵着丰富的文化资源,具有强大的文化力量。其文化理性首先在于它引领从偏重社会价值向社会价值与个人价值并重的文化追求,其次在于它倡导从单纯科学理性向科学理性与人文精神并举的文化整合,再次在于它担负由专注传承功能到传承功能与创新功能结合的文化选择。To explain the cultural meanings of ideological and political education and to excavate its profound cultural connotations, are not only the inner demand of educating people with culture, but also the serf-conscious rationality of ideological and political education innovation. The college ideological and political education contains rich cultural resources and a strong force of culture. Its cultural rationality lies in here： firstly, it should lead the pursuit of paying equal attention to social value and individual value instead of laying particular stress on social value only~ secondly, it should advocate the cultural integration of scientific rationality and humanistic spirits instead of insisting on pure scientific rationality; last but not least, it should take on the combined cultural choice of inheritance function and innovation function instead of focusing inheritance function.
