摘　　要：高级英语课程是英语专业高年级主干课程之一,对于培养和提高学生实际运用英语的综合能力起着非常重要的作用,其教学方法直接影响着教学质量。授课教师应以学生为中心,加强多媒体教学、增加文化背景知识、培养学生自主学习习惯,运用多种切实可行的教学方法,有效地提高高级英语的教学效果。Advanced English is one of the major courses for senior English majors. It plays a critical role in nurturing students＇ comprehensive English application ability. The teaching methods to the course have a lot to do with its teaching quality as well. In order to largely enhance the teaching effectiveness, teachers should conduct students-centered teaching activities, further use multi-media and combine different workable teaching methods in teaching. Meanwhile, it is also necessary to enrich students＇ culture background knowledge and arouse their independent learning awareness.
