摘　　要：高考英语单项填空题是考查考生语言知识运用能力的一个重要题型。从1978年到现在,我国高考英语单项填空题经历引入探索、巩固稳定和改革发展三个阶段,目前已形成了稳定、鲜明的题型特点,未来应进一步开发新考点、发掘新视角。Multiple choice question in Matriculation English Test is an important question type which is used to test the examinees＇ abilities of how to use English language. From 1978 to the present, this question type has been stable and distinctive after it passed three stages： exploration, consolidation, reform and development. The next step should develop new examination content and discover new examination view.
