摘  要:语言生成性包含两部分内容,即关于语言结构特征的描述和关于儿童获得语言能力的假设。语言的结构特征是相同结构成分的重复或相套,被认为是有限规则的无限运用,但是儿童了解了有限规则后尚不足以听懂和说出无限新句子,这是因为,第一,新句子的新旧程度有巨大差异;第二,说出和听懂新句子需要相应的知识准备;第三,人们听懂和说出新句子的能力随着年龄和受教育程度而逐渐增长。Linguistic productivity contains two parts: one is the description of the characteristics of language structure and the other is a hypothesis about child language acquisition.The characteristics of language structure are the repetition of same structure parts,known as the infinite use of finite rules.But children can not produce or understand countless new sentences after they have mastered the general rules of a language because firstly,so-called new sentences have many levels;secondly,to produce and understand new sentences need certain preparation of knowledge;thirdly,the ability to produce and understand new sentences increases with age and education.
