摘　　要：根据Ellis的观点,语言能力是语用能力发展的基础,但语言水平的提高并不一定意味着语用水平发生同方向的变化。语言能力并不是影响语用能力水平的唯一因素,语言学习者自身的学习过程、动机、方式等都可能对语用能力的发展产生影响。本研究探讨了非英语专业大学生的英语语用水平与某些相关因素之间的关系。According to Ellis, learners＇ linguistic proficiency is the basis of pragmatic competence, but the improvement of lin- guistic proficiency doesn＇t necessarily lead to the improvement of pragmatic competence. Linguistic proficiency is not the indicator of language learners＇ pragmatic competence, and there are some other factors, such as language learning process, motivation and ways of learning, that will have effect on the development of pragmatic competence.
