跨文化非语言交际能力与大学英语教学的探析

摘　　要：大学英语教学目标之一是培养大学生的跨文化交际能力,其中包含语言交际能力与非语言交际能力。在跨文化交流过程中,如果不了解非语言文化的差异,可能导致交流无法正常进行。如何强化大学英语教学中的跨文化非语言交际能力,应成为当前大学英语教学过程中不断探索的课题。本文在对跨文化非语言交际能力定义的理解以及跨文化非语言交际能力对提高外语教学质量重要性阐述的基础上,提出了跨文化非语言交际能力培养策略,以期能在实践中提升大学英语教学水平。Cross - cultural communication competence is one of the important goals of college English teaching, which consists of verbal communication competence and non -verbal communication ability. Without the hell; of non - verbal communication competence, the Cross - cultural exchange can not go smoothly. How to strengthcm the non - verbal communication competence should become a research subject continuing to be ex- plored in current college English teaching. This essay will present author＇ s understanding of cross - cultural nonverbal communication competence and the importance of nonverbal communication competence in improving the quality of college English teaching. On the basis of that, the strategies to foster cross - cultural nonverbal communication competence will be elaborated in order to enhance the teaching level of college English teaching in practice.
