摘　　要：高职院校学生综合职业能力的高低对贯彻高等职业教育、培养高端技能型人才起着至关重要的作用,而高职公共英语教学是培养学生综合职业能力的摇篮。本文结合了国内外关于高职院校综合职业能力的研究现状,分析了在高职院校的背景和培养学生综合职业能力的必要性。The comprehensive vocational ability of higher vocational college students plays an important role in carrying out the higher vocational education and training high skilled talents, and higher vocational public English teaching is the cradle of cultivating students＇ comprehensive vocational ability. This paper combines the domestic and foreign research situation of the comprehensive vocational ability of higher vocational colleges, analyzes the background and the necessity of training students＇ comprehensive vocational ability in higher vocational colleges.
