摘　　要：结合多年的教学实践,就通识教育课《化学与环境》的教学内容体系、教学模式与方法、教学效果等进行了总结。作为一门全校性的通识教育课,在教学内容的选取上要充分考虑不同专业类别学生的基础,与现实生活紧密结合,激发学生的学习兴趣;采用灵活多样的教学方法和手段,使学生愿意主动了解化学与环境方面的知识。本课程的开设提高了学生的科学素养,增强了学生的环境意识和社会责任感。The teaching contents, models and effects of the public elective course Chemistry and Environment were summarized based on the four years＇ practice. As a public elective course setting for all students except for those majored in chemistry or environment, the teaching contents must be carefully selected to be suit for their knowledge base, com- bined with our life to stimulate their studying interest. At the same time, the teacher should also adopt the flexible and di- verse methods to make the students like learning knowledge about Chemistry and Environment. The studying of this course improved the students＇ scientific literacy, and enhanced their environmental awareness and sense of social responsibility.
