摘　　要：我国对于教师培训和培养统称为教师的教育,其宗旨是为了提升师范教育水平,指导教育专业,教师职前教育和入职教育的发展。我国现行的英语教育体系不仅为我国提供了庞大的教育师资力量,也为我国英语教育事业的发展起到重要的作用。随着社会经济的发展,教育体制逐渐暴露其缺陷,改革刻不容缓,如何改革目前的英语教师教育体系已经成为我国教育界必须面临的重要环节。The training and cultivation of teachers in China is generally called teacher education, which aims to improve teach- ers＇ education ability, and guide the development of education majors and teachers＇ pre-post education. Contemporary English education system in China not only provides a large number of teachers, but also plays an important role in the development of China＇s English education. With social and economic develop- ment, shortcomings of the education system is gradually obvious, so a reform is inevitable. How to reform the current English teacher education system has become an important link of Chi- na＇s education field.
