摘　　要：依据洛克原著《人类理智论》对其实体观进行分析,可知洛克虽然肯定了实体的存在,却否定了它的可知性。Locke affirms the existence of substance, but denies its knowability. This paper discusses intensively Locke ＇s viewpoint of substance according to Locke ＇ s An Essay Concerning Human Understanding. The paper is divided into three parts. The first part explicates Locke＇s idea of Substance and its originality. The second part elaborates the classification of Locke＇s sub- stances. The third part analyzes the unknowability of Locke＇s ideas of substance.
