摘　　要：本研究以问卷的形式,采用SPSS数据分析软件,对750名独立学院非英语专业学生的英语学习策略使用情况进行了调查。研究结果发现,除了使用补偿策略和元认知策略外,学生较少使用其他策略。而且理工类学生和文史类学生在学习策略的使用上也呈现差异,因此,教师在大学英语教学过程中要注重培养学生的学习策略意识,引导学生选用适当的学习策略,以提高自主学习效果。By means of a questionnaire and the software of SPSS,the paper investigates English learning strategies used by 750 non-English majors in independent colleges.The results show that the students seldom use other strategies except compensation strategy and metacognitive strategy and that the science majors differ from arts majors in choosing English learning strategies.Therefore,the teachers should cultivate the students＇ consciousness of learning strategies and guide them to appropriate strategies so as to achieve better results in self study.
