摘　　要：通过分析《新编实用英语综合教程》(第三版)教材的编写特点,并比较与第二版的不同之处,得出适合此教材的几个教学理论:多元智能理论、研究性学习理论、合作学习理论、自主学习理论,以便促进大学英语教学改革和提高高职高专实用英语人才的培养质量。This paper explores the proper teaching theories by studying the writing features of New Practical English Comprehensive Course-Third Edition and comparing it with the second edition in order to enhance the reform of college English teaching and improve the cultivating quality of higher vocational English talents, including multiple intelligence theory, researching study theory, cooperative study theory, and independence learning theory.
