摘　　要：探讨多媒体辅助大学英语教学的现状,指出目前普遍存在的问题,就解决这些问题进行了思考和探讨,指出多媒体辅助大学英语教学只是一种工具,而不是目的。This paper introduces the state of art of CAI in teaching English for non - English majors in colleges and universities. It contends that in spite of its significant role in English teaching, there are some problems in the ap- plication which cannot be ignored. The paper attempts to find out some solutions to these problems, arguing that CAI is only a means rather than an end in itself.
