摘　　要：从高级英语教学的对象——大学本科英语专业高年级学生的实际出发(来自语言学课程的普通语言学理论和一定的英语语言基础)和文体学的实际性和操作性出发,选择了里奇和肖特文体分析模式和功能文体学的分析模式,分别分析了《高级英语》的两篇文章——《迎战卡米尔号飓风》和《关于希特勒入侵苏联的讲话》的文体特征,发现这两种文体分析模式的分析层面丰富,可操作性强,易于学生掌握,能够帮助学生实现对语篇的更好的理解和赏析。This paper studies Advanced English learners who have been equipped with some linguistic theories, solid language knowledge as well as practicality and operability of Stylistics. We analyze Face to Face with Hurricane Camille and Speech on Hitler＆ Invasion of U. S. S. R excerpted from Advanced English with Leech and Short~ approach and Func- tional Stylistic approach. It can be concluded that these two approaches, with their rich analysis angles and easy operability, can help the students gain a better text understanding and appreciation.
