摘  要:学习动机和学习策略都是会对学习效果产生重要影响的因素。文章通过对192名地方师范院校大学英语学生实施问卷调查,了解非英语专业学生英语学习的动机和学习策略的现状。问卷结果统计分析表明这一层次的大学英语学生的学习动机水平中等,其英语学习策略的使用处于中等偏下的水平。对两个问卷结果的相关分析发现在融入型动机、工具型动机、成就型动机、内在动机这四类动机中只有融入型动机和内在动机与四类学习策略呈显著正相关关系。Both motivation and strategy use are important factors attributing to the success of foreign language learning.This study aims to investigate the relationship between local college students’ English learning motivation and their use of learning strategies through questionnaire survey.The results from 192 questionnaires are computed and the statistics indicate that this group of students’ motivation is at medium level and their frequency of using learning strategies is also at medium level.There is correlation between learners’ learning motivation and their use of learning strategies,and learners’ preference for certain types of learning strategies are partially determined by their particular types of motivation.
