摘　　要：西安石油大学外国语学院在石油国际化进程日趋加快的背景下,依据"学科依托的外语教学"(DBI)理念,创建了石油专业导向的本科人才培养新模式,设计了建立在"石油与天然气工程"学科基础上的石油专门用途英/俄语(EPP/RPP)课程体系。本文介绍了"依托学科专业构建"这一外语本科人才培养新思路,探讨了EPP/RPP教学内容和教学方法的改革及学生外语实践能力培养的问题。In the context of faster pace of petroleum internationalization, the School of Foreign Languages of Xi＇ an Shiyou University has, in line with the concept of discipline-based （ Foreign Language） Instruction （DBI） ,created a new model for training undergraduates which is oriented by petroleum disciplines, and designed the EPP/RPP （English/Russian for Petroleum Pur- pose） curriculum system based on Petroleum ＆ Gas Engineer- ing. This paper introduces the innovative notion of ＂discipline- based curriculum construction＂ for the training of foreign language majors, and discusses issues of the changes in the contents and methods in EPP/RPP teaching, and the cultivation of the students＇ practical foreign languages skills.
